La sclérose en plaques ; cette maladie mal connue
Pourquoi m’arrive-t-il souvent d’avoir ce genre de réaction des gens : « ah ouais, eh ça ce n’est pas drôle comme maladie …c’est quoi donc déjà, je ne me souviens plus ? »
Il est parfois difficile de croire que nous sommes en 2008 où tout est accessible. Où en un clic de souris tout peut se savoir, s’apprendre, comment se fait-il alors qu’il y ait si peu d’information sur la sclérose en plaques ?
Je trouve parfois très malheureux d’avoir à vivre avec le jugement des gens.
Parce que je me retrouve jugé quasi quotidiennement à cause de ma maladie. Si une journée je tremble beaucoup et que je suis avec des gens et que je renverse ou échappe quelque chose suite à cela, automatiquement le regard des gens se tournera vers moi avec des yeux interrogateurs.
Je trouve malheureux qu’encore aujourd’hui lorsque je dis à des gens la maladie que j’ai, je me retrouve avec un regard gêné, mal à l’aise comme si c’était une maladie honteuse.
Mais la remarque la plus déplorable que j’ai reçu vient d’une amie de l’époque qui m’a demandé lorsqu’elle a su être enceinte si ma maladie était contagieuse ou s’il y avait du danger pour son bébé!
Combien d’amis perdus ou qui se sont éloignés par manque d’information. Cela me fait sortir de mes gonds de savoir qu’à l’ère de l’exploration sur Mars, des gens ne connaissent pas ou ont des préjugés face à la sclérose en plaques.
Alors, parlez-en. N’ayez pas peur du fameux jugement des gens. La journée où moi j’ai commencé à dire ce que j’avais et à expliquer ce que cela impliquait et ce que cela me faisait vivre, les gens ont soudainement arrêté de me dévisager, d’avoir des préjugés. Si chacun expliquait ce qu’est réellement la maladie à au moins une personne, cette maladie ne serait plus cachée. Peut-être y aurait-il encore plus d’aide qui serait disponible, plus de recherche. Seulement une personne peut faire la différence.
En tout cas, moi, j’ai décidé que je me ferais un devoir de faire sortir de l’ombre celle qui nous garde souvent dans l’ombre : la sclérose en plaques.

Chère "Porcelaine"... Vous avez bien eu raison d'oser en parler.
On est bien loin du quotidien, et du vécu intime des personnes, quand on a pas lu des témoignages comme le vôtre, ou que l'on est pas personnellement atteint par cette maladie... Alors, pour avoir courageusement parlé de cela, c'est que vous avez encore beaucoup de courage, et de force en Vous.
Chère "Porcelaine", probablement un pseudo (que je n'aime pas trop d'ailleurs...), je vous envoi dès ce soir via Internet le livre du Dr. Kousmine sur la SEP (La sclérose en plaques est guérissable, édité en 1984), et à l'avenir, je vous nommerai "bouledelaine".
Qu'en dites-vous ? Une boule de laine, tient chaud, est incassable, neutre ou multicolore, et permet une infinité de créations...

Chère "Bouledelaine"... j'ai lu un merveilleux livre, il y a plusieurs années, et dont une phrase m'avait touché personnellement. Un livre qui a été un best seller, oups, qui a eu un très grand succès, et que je vous conseille, si vous ne l'avez pas encore lu.
Il s'intitule : L'Alchimiste, de Paulo Coelho, a été édité dans plus de 48 pays, et avait obtenu le grand prix des lectrices du magazine Elle, en 1995..

Vous n'avez plus qu'à le télécharger. Vous pourez même voir ma bouille, photographiée en Grèce sur l'ïle d'Ios, en 1991... Comme le temps passe...

« Actuellement en médecine classique, ne sont reconnues comme valables que les notions acquises dans les services hospitaliers et les instituts de recherche, à l’aide de méthodes statistiques, par un effort d’équipes. Le nombre des personnes concernées ne représente qu’une très faible minorité du corps médical. Ainsi, le résultat de recherches entreprises par un médecin isolé, est-il d’emblée déclaré sans aucune valeur scientifique. Et pourtant, si ce dernier ne peut disposer d’un nombre aussi grand d’observations, il a l’avantage considérable de connaître ses malades personnellement et s’il leur est utile, de pouvoir suivre pendant de nombreuses années, l’évolution de leurs maladies.
Dans son livre « la ressource humaine », Samuel Pisar nous prévient que notre civilisation occidentale pêche par une sous-exploitation catastrophique de notre richesse principale, soit la substance grise de notre cerveau. Née en 1904, la Dr C. Kousmine a fait toutes ses classes à Lausanne, et a obtenu son baccalauréat scientifique en 1922 (mathématiques spéciales), ce qui l’a préparée à une pensée logique. En 1928, elle a obtenu son diplôme professionnel fédéral avec le titre de Lauréate de la Faculté de médecine de Lausanne. En 1934 elle a ouvert son cabinet médical, après six années de formation hospitalière, et l’obtention du titre de médecin FMH. Le témoignage d'un de ses élèves
J'étais à cette époque, un jeune médecin nouvellement installé. Je m'étais donc confronté à la médecine conventionnelle, mais j'étais demeuré frustré par les non-réponses aux nombreuses questions que je portais en moi, quant à l'essentiel de la démarche du médecin, et surtout quant à l'histoire naturelle des maladies. Aussi, je m'étais autorisé à envisager comme plausibles et acceptables certaines ouvertures que permettaient les approches moins conventionnelles. Parmi celles-ci m'attiraient surtout celles qui venaient du passé et qui, bien qu'éprouvées, avaient été abandonnées ou sous-estimées, sous prétexte d'obsolescence. J'avais un sens critique assez aiguisé, et je l'utilisais surtout dans ma recherche sur d'autres démarches thérapeutiques. Je m'interdisais en particulier de porter un jugement à priori sur toute approche nouvelle que je ne connaissais pas. Au cours de mes études médicales, j'avais de nombreuses fois assisté à des débats contradictoires sur les médecines dites alternatives, et j'avais été choqué (c'est le mot juste) par l'attitude de certains de mes confrères qui n'hésitaient pas à porter un jugement négatif péremptoire et définitif sur une méthode comme l'homéopathie par exemple. Mais après les avoir questionné sur la méthode qu'ils fustigeaient souvent avec une grande véhémence, je m'étais rendu compte qu'ils ne la connaissaient nullement en profondeur. Ainsi se permettaient-ils d'émettre un avis négatif catégorique, et sans appel, sur un sujet dont ils ignoraient tout ou presque. Je pensais naïvement à l'époque qu'un être humain issu d'un courant scientifique ne pouvait s'autoriser à porter un jugement quel qu'il soit qu'après une connaissance approfondie du sujet sur lequel porte son jugement, et après une mûre réflexion. Eh bien j'avais tord... !
L'anecdote suivante est fort intéressante à cet égard: Au début du 19° siècle en Angleterre, alors que le règne de la Reine Victoria venait de se terminer, un célèbre chef de service (que je ne nommerai pas) se mit en tête de dénigrer l'homéopathie que la défunte Reine avait soutenu et prôné tout son règne durant. Bien sûr, il n'en connaissait rien lui-même. A cette fin, il délégua un de ses brillants assistants, le Dr Foubister, pour faire un article afin de dénigrer cette méthode médicale très en vogue à l'époque. Or, il se trouva que Foubister ne connaissait pas l'homéopathie. Il se mit donc à l'étudier de manière critique et approfondie, afin d'en trouver honnêtement les failles et de faire un article objectif à partir des connaissances qu'il en avait acquit par une étude sérieuse. Me croirez-vous si je vous dis que le dénommé Foubister devint, à la suite de cette quête, un des plus grand homéopathes d'Angleterre... ! Bien que promis à une grande carrière hospitalière, il se dissocia de l'establishment bien pensant et se consacra à la pratique de l'homéopathie toute sa vie durant.
Aussi, lorsque je vis venir en consultation une femme atteinte de polyarthrite rhumatoïde, que j'avais déjà essayé d'aider maintes fois auparavant, sans trop de résultat, et qui cette fois-ci allait fort bien, je lui demandai: "qu'avez-vous donc fait ?"..... Elle me dit: "Je suis allé en Suisse consulter la Dr C. Kousmine - Elle m'a donné un régime, des vitamines, et m'a fait des piqûres ... et je vais beaucoup mieux depuis". Alors je me suis dit: "C'est intéressant - Pourquoi pas ?". En prenant congé d'elle, je la priai, la prochaine fois ou elle verrait cette Dr. Kousmine, de bien vouloir lui demander si elle accepterait de me recevoir pour assister à ses consultations.
Et c'est ainsi que je me retrouvai quelques temps plus tard dans le cabinet médical de la Dr C. Kousmine pour un stage de formation à sa "méthode", à Lutry. Là, pendant quatre jours, j'assistai aux consultations de la Doctoresse. La grande majorité de ses patients présentaient des pathologies sévères, pour lesquelles les propositions thérapeutiques conventionnelles n'étaient souvent que palliatives et symptomatiques. Mais dès les premiers entretiens, je me suis rendu compte qu'elle obtenait dans la plupart des cas, des résultats thérapeutiques souvent spectaculaires et incontestables. Elle était très scrupuleuse dans ses consultations, faisant à chaque fois un examen clinique complet, et s'attachant à noter systématiquement certains détails: qualité de la peau, couleur de la langue, état des ongles, régularité du transit intestinal... Elle demandait à ses patients de tester le pH (le degré d'acidité) de leur urine chaque jour et de le noter sur un petit carnet qu'ils apportaient avec eux à chaque consultation. Sur ce carnet était également inscrit quotidiennement tous les médicaments pris ainsi que leur posologie respective.
Sa première démarche devant une maladie grave quelle qu'elle soit était de modifier le plus rapidement possible la flore intestinale. Partant du principe que l'alimentation moderne avait un effet délétère sur cette flore, la transformant en une flore agressive, et sur la paroi de l'intestin qui, se trouvant fragilisée, laissait passer les agents toxiques sécrétés par la flore. Aussi imposait-elle tout d'abord une alimentation hypotoxique, précédée par une courte période de jeune, et des lavements intestinaux bi-hebdomadaires. Elle prescrivait presque systématiquement pendant cette période les vitamines essentielles, sous forme orale et injectable, partant du principe que les organismes arrivant à un stade avancé de pathologie chronique ont besoin d'un apport quotidien en vitamines bien supérieur à celui d'un organisme sain. Enfin, elle s'attachait à corriger l'état d'acidose chronique dans laquelle se trouvent ces patients en prescrivant des sels alcalinisants en complément de l'alimentation, et en se basant sur l'acidité de l'urine afin d'en régler la posologie. Cette dernière prescription ayant généralement pour effet de diminuer rapidement la fatigue et de diminuer les douleurs. Cette phase correspondant pour elle, et selon son expression, à "débrayer le moteur de la maladie".
La Dr. Kousmine était une allopathe et ne prescrivait que des médicaments conventionnels. Pendant cette première phase du traitement, qui pouvait durer selon les cas, de quelques semaines à 4 mois, elle ne conservait de médication que ce qui était vraiment essentiel et indispensable, afin de ne pas encombrer l'organisme de remèdes superflus, et à ne pas gêner le foie dans sa mission de détoxification. Il est vrai que lorsque ses préceptes étaient scrupuleusement suivis, les symptômes s'amendaient rapidement et l'état général de ses patients s'améliorait considérablement. Ce n'est qu'à partir de ce moment là qu'elle entreprenait la seconde phase de sa méthode: cure de vaccins pour les pathologies rhumatismales, les migraines, les pathologies auto-immunes, traitement de chimiothérapie, radiothérapie ou intervention chirurgicale pour les cancers. Elle disait que, à quelques exceptions près, si on se précipite pour opérer les tumeurs malignes, les métastases surviennent immanquablement, alors que si on prend le temps de préparer le malade, il ne court pratiquement pas le risque de voir une évolution secondaire de sa maladie. En général, les traitements chimiques agissent beaucoup mieux, et les opérations se passent sans complications, avec des suites sans problèmes.
La Dr. Kousmine était très stricte avec ses patients. Lorsque l'un d'eux ne suivait pas strictement ses préceptes, il se voyait sévèrement réprimandé: "Si vous n'êtes pas prêt à faire exactement ce que je vous dis, ce n'est pas la peine de revenir me voir, il y a d'autres médecins, et surtout, il y a d'autres patients qui attendent d'avoir une consultation auprès de moi ! - Je n'ai pas de temps à perdre avec des personnes qui ne veulent pas guérir !" - Le message était assez clair ! Il est vrai que seule la mise en place scrupuleuse de tous les points de sa méthode pouvait donner des résultats. En omettre un seul, c'était déséquilibrer l'ensemble et compromettre le but.
Au cours de ces quatre jours passés auprès d'elle, je n'ai pu me faire qu'une idée générale des impacts positifs de ses soins, mais j'y ai vu des cas désespérés améliorés de façon extraordinaire. J'étais interloqué par les résultats obtenus en appliquant sa méthode. Suffisamment pour continuer à l'étudier et à la mettre en pratique. Depuis, et jusqu'à sa mort, j'ai revu plusieurs fois la Dr Kousmine et j'ai pu constater que sa "méthode" comme on l'appelle dorénavant, était capable de guérir réellement des pathologies réputées actuellement inguérissables, malgré les progrès considérables des thérapeutiques modernes. Certaines autres pathologies sont stabilisées pendant des années, et ce tant que les malades continuent à appliquer ses préceptes alimentaires et d'hygiène de vie.
La méthode de la Dr C. Kousmine demande un grand investissement personnel à celui qui veut l'appliquer. C'est peut-être son plus grand handicap. Le retour à la santé demande un effort, et se mérite. Or cet effort est peut-être difficile à fournir lorsqu'on est dans un état de fatigue et surtout de détresse à l'annonce d'une maladie grave. Il est bon de rejoindre une structure efficace qui puisse, pendant les premières semaines ou les premier mois, seconder celui ou celle qui veut mettre en pratique la méthode Kousmine. Son application soulève en effet une foule de questions qui appellent une écoute bienveillante facilement accessible.
A cette fin, sous l'impulsion de son charismatique directeur, Dom Chiesa, et de son très sympathique président, le Dr. Fabrizio De Gasperis, l'Association Kousmine Italienne a mis en place depuis des années, des stages d'initiation et de soutien à tous ceux qui veulent appliquer la méthode.

J'ai 29 ans et on vient de me diagnostiquer une SEP, pas facile à digérer, vraiment pas... Un de mes médecins m'a parlé de Kousmine et de son livre sur la SEP, malheureusement il est en rupture de stock et ils ne vont pas le reéditer.
